The third Monday of each year, the 21st of January this year, we celebrate the contributions of Martin Luther King Junior (born January 15th, 1929).
Today, in honor of MLK, Ron Paul supporters will attempt to raise millions of dollars in another of their famous Money Bombs which helped Ron Paul raise far more money than any other Republican Presidential candidate in the 4th Quarter.
Record previous money bombs for Ron Paul include:
November 5th: ( In memory of the Movie “V” for Vendetta and its revolutionary theme. )
$4.3 Million http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd1kLATVljY
December 16th: (In memory of the Boston Tea Party.)
$6.03 Million http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGLw_1gIgO8
Today’s fundraiser is expected to reach around $2 million based on pledges made so far, but who can tell what can happen with the passionate and creative Ron Paul supporters. While the world slept, the Ron Paul revolutionaries already raised $180,000 by 4.30am. Go here to see the donations as they pour in today!

Back in 1988 when Ron Paul was running for president for the libertarian party.
I clipped this video out of a 6+ minute video of the entire interview, just so we could see the best bit
Picked up from Tom DiLorenzo posting on the LRC Blog.
F.A. Hayek wrote in The Constitution of Liberty that a defining characteristic of socialism is the denial of and attacks upon the principle of individual responsibiliy. (If you’re not responsible for your own actions, then the state supposedly must step in and run your life for you). (My Italics)
This post was made in reference to Rudy Giuliani having sued arms manufacturers as blame for crimes, but it has far wider appeal. The state gains a foothold with myriad claims to protect us from ourselves and from all manner of demons. F.A. Hayek, your legend lives on!
More good exposure for Ron Paul!
The Mises Institute has released a remarkable biography of arguably one of the greatest strivers for liberty in
history, Ludwig von Mises.
The book is written by Jorg Guido Hulsmann after years of research, following the releasing of many documents which had been held by the government since Mises left Austria around the time of WWII.
The book provides great insights into the uncompromising character of Mises and provides informative historical coverage of the development of economics as well as politics throughout the 20th century. Read an introduction here.
